Executive Director Meets with Coordinators In East Africa

In July 2014, I had the opportunity to visit the GTL Coordinators in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. These meetings were very useful in highlighting the successes of the program and also issues of concern.  More importantly it was a great opportunity for me to get a feel of the activities on the ground. The coordinators are fully motivated and energetic.  They love the work they do with GTL, identifying and supporting girls who will make the most of our scholarship support.

Scholarship season is coming up and we look forward to working with the Coordinators to maximize our ability to award scholarships to qualified girls in East Africa.  In 2014, GTL provided 292 scholarships to girls in East Africa.
